OLD SCHOOL SNEAKERS... NEW SCHOOL ETHICS
Celebrating conscious design Cariuma encorporates reycled plastics and bamboo in their shoe design. This pop up brought a spotlight onto prioritising sustainable practices and process without compromising on comfort or aesthetics.
Bamboo regenerates from its own roots, making it one of the most sustainably grown crops. Working with a live material provided unique challenges and required conscious sourcing.
The eyecatching wall, visible from the street drew in passers-by and allowed for creative shelving solutions which showcased the product. The wall delivered a unique ever-changing display as the material aged, changing colour and tone.
Display Plinths: made from recycled chip foam
